Please Note: All bonds need to be made out to Village of Orland Park. All bonds must state what type of contractor they are being issued for i.e.: general, electrical, carpentry, etc. All contractor licenses expire on December 31 of the year they are issued.

Business Licenses
When to Obtain a License
Business licenses for businesses with a commercial location in the Village of Orland Park must be obtained from the Development Services Department when:
- Starting a new business
- Relocating a business
- Expanding a business
- Changing ownership of a business
Application and Permits
In addition to the business license application, occupancy, and zoning permits are also required under most circumstances.
When deciding on a location for your new business, call the Development Services Department at 708-403-5300 to make sure the area you are looking at is zoned properly for the type of business you plan to open.
Currently Licensed Businesses
Home Businesses
The Village of Orland Park does not license businesses operated out of a home. Regulations pertaining to home businesses can be found in Article 6, Part Three, Section 6-303 of the Land Development Code.
